Warranty Information

REBUILT HARMONIC BALANCERS
Damper Doctor will warranty, to the original purchaser of a rebuilt harmonic balancer, a limited warranty for 3 years from the date of purchase.  Damper Doctor will repair or replace at our discretion any harmonic balancer that fails from normal use.  Stock harmonic balancers purchased for racing or other high performance use carry no warranty.  Damper Doctor is not responsible for labor charges involved in removing and replacing the defective unit.  It is the responsibility of the installer to make sure the timing mark is in the correct location for the specific engine application.

NEW HARMONIC BALANCERS
Damper Doctor will warranty, to the original purchaser of a new harmonic balancer, a limited warranty for 1 year from the date of purchase.  Damper Doctor will repair or replace at our discretion any harmonic balancer that fails from normal use.  Stock harmonic balancers purchased for racing or other high performance use carry no warranty.  Damper Doctor is not responsible for labor charges involved in removing and replacing the defective unit.  It is the responsibility of the installer to make sure the timing mark is in the correct location for the specific engine application.

HIGH PERFORMANCE HARMONIC BALANCERS
Damper Doctor handles warranties of high performance harmonic balancers on a case by case basis.  If it is obvious that the harmonic balancer failed due to a defect in the product within the first year, then the harmonic balancer may be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Damper Doctor.  Damper Doctor is not responsible for labor charges involved in removing and replacing the defective unit.  It is the responsibility of the installer to make sure the timing mark is in the correct location for the specific engine application.
